This benefit concert at Birdland by award winning drummer Marcello Pellitteri honors his daughter Veronica Pellitteri (LaGuardia 2009) on the second anniversary of her death. Proceeds will go to the Veronica Pellitteri Memorial Fund. This historic and long-overdue monographic exhibition celebrates Rosalyn Drexler’s multidisciplinary artistic practice and acknowledges her important contribution to Pop art. Drexler (American, born 1926, Music & Art alumni class of '45) began using imagery culled from popular culture in 1961, the same year as Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.
