Thank you for your interest in participating in the virtual fundraiser to celebrate the legacy of “FAME,” the groundbreaking 1980 film that inspired millions, and spawned the creation of specialized performing arts high schools around the world! This event is co-produced by Alumni & Friends of LaGuardia High School and the LaGuardia Parents Association, both 501(c)3 non-profit organizations. All proceeds will directly benefit LaGuardia High School and its artistically gifted students.
Below are videos, lyrics, and click tracks of the four songs that will be part of this virtual fundraiser (“Fame,” “I Sing the Body Electric,” “Out Here On My Own,” and “Never Alone”). Please watch the videos, listen to the track, read the lyrics, and prepare for your own performance!

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR ALL VIDEO SUBMISSIONS
** VERY IMPORTANT**
- When recording yourself performing your song, please make sure that click track/playback music IS NOT being recorded by your phone/camera, that you are only hearing the click track/playback music in your headphones, and that only your voice or instrument are being recorded for your submission. We do not want to hear the recorded music blended with your vocals or your musical instrument. You may need to use two devices, one to play back the music in your headphones, and the other to record your voice/instrument.
- If you are using a phone or a tablet to record, please make sure it is sideways so that you are recording in LANDSCAPE MODE, not portrait mode.
- Make sure your recording is set to the highest possible resolution/ size for your device. Ideally the video is recorded at 1920 x 1080p.
