Adam O’Farrill, trumpet player and composer, was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He was born into a deep musical legacy that includes legendary Afro-Cuban composer Chico O’Farrill, pianist and bandleader Arturo O’Farrill, and pianist and educator Alison Deane. Adam has performed with such artists as Arturo O’Farrill, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Vijay Iyer, Ambrose Akinmusire, Roy Hargrove, and Dave Liebman, and has performed around the world, everywhere from the Newport Jazz Festival to the Havana Plaza Jazz Festival. He has co-led a band with his brother and drummer, Zack, called The O’Farrill Brothers Band. لعبة مباشر They released two albums, Giant Peach (2011), and Sensing Flight (2013), to critical acclaim, including a 4-star review in Downbeat Magazine for the latter.

A short while ago, Adam recorded with Rudresh Mahanthappa on his new album, Bird Calls, which has received critical acclaim.В  He also recently performed with Roy Hargrove in honor of The Jazz Gallery’s 20th Anniversary Series.
