Come see Opera Workshop perform in Offenbach’s English twist on mythology! LaGuardia’s annual opera, Orpheus in the Underworld, will be Friday, April 1st at 7:30pm, Saturday, April 2 at 2pm and 7:30pm, and Sunday, April 3 at 2pm. Tickets are $20 students; $30 adults. Purchase tickets.

Known for its famous Infernal Gallop (aka the Can-Can), Orpheus in the Underworld is the story of a complex relationship between Orpheus and his wife, Eurydice, as he ventures through the depths of hell in search of her soul, stolen by Pluto. With the help of Public Opinion and the gods of Mount Olympus, what could possibly go wrong?
