Larry Walker (M&A 1953), and whose granddaughter, Octavia M. Burgel (graduated 2015) will have an exhibition at SikkemaJenkins Gallery, 530 W. 22nd Street, NYC, June 9th – July 15th, 2016. The selection of drawings and paintings included in the exhibition curated by his daughter, Kara Walker, reveal ideological, methodological, and expressive connections that span some 45 years while also generating a variety of current personal and humanistic perspectives.
