2018 Reunion – June 8 & 9, 2018

We are excited for Reunion 2018 – a special weekend of reconnecting and forging new bonds with classmates. Check out performances and artwork by the current LaGuardia students, revisit classrooms, and ride the elevators – you won’t need a pass!
Formal invitations will be going out in the mail in April, but in the meantime, take advantage of our Early Bird Special Pricing of $30 for Friday (regular price is $35) and $80 (regular price is $90) for Saturday – available through April 15.

2018 Reunion Schedule of Events
Friday, June 8 at “The Castle” – for alumni of M&A and PA (tickets $30)
the former Music & Art building (now A. Philip Randolph), 443 W. 135th St.
5-7pm: We are happy to invite you back to “The Castle on the Hill.” The gathering includes music, appetizers, and self-guided tours of the school. Friends from any class (including non reunion years) are welcome to join. Bring your instruments!
Saturday, June 9 for alumni of M&A, PA, and LaGuardia (tickets $80 / $90 with Concert)
at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, 100 Amsterdam Ave at 65th St.
1-2pm: Registration, Semi-Annual Art Exhibit (the Semi- Annual will be on display throughout the day in the 2nd Floor Art Gallery and on the Mezzanine Level)
2-3pm: Dance and Drama showcase in the Little Flower Theatre
3-5pm: Class gatherings and class photos (each class will have its own gathering location, which will be available upon registration)
5-7pm: Dinner, dessert, and photo-booth
7:30-10pm: Semi Annual Orchestra and Choral Concert (featuring “Dona Nobis Pacem” by Ralph Vaughan Williams and pieces by John Tavener and Jake Runestad)
One of our amazing alumni, Rhonda Wachtel (M&A ’73) has negotiated a Special Group Rate starting at $185 a night at the Hotel Belleclaire. It is currently open for reservations. Dates extend from June 6 – 12, 2018. Cut off date for the group is May 1, 2018. All rooms booked after May 1, 2018 are subject to availability and will be at the current selling rate.
